Salmon is a versatile fish that can be prepared in a variety of ways. This recipe is wonderful and festive. Served as an appetizer or as a main course, it is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
1 whole fillet of salmon (or 8 individual slices)
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3 sprigs fresh dill, cleaned and chopped
2 teaspoons lemon rind (optional) plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup Gefen Mustard
1/2 cup Gefen Honey
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Pereg Garlic Powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
Place fish fillets on a lined baking tray and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the sauce ingredients. Pour half of sauce over fish.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Stir fresh dill into remaining sauce and pour over cooked fish.
Serve warm or cool.
