Diets Roasted nuts are a filling and healthy option for on-the-go snacking (just keep an eye on your serving size).
4 cups assorted salted nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews – if making for Passover, don’t forget that peanuts are kitniyot)
1 egg white or 1 and 1/2 tablespoons Haddar Egg Whites
1 teaspoon water
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon Gefen Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
Combine egg white and water in a mixing bowl. Add nuts.
In another bowl, mix sugar and spices. Add to nuts.
Toss all to coat and spread on lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 250 degrees Fahrenheit oven for 30–45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
