I have loved brownies ever since I can remember. My Aunt Debbie would bring her perfect little chocolate squares of heaven to our family Shabbat dinners, where we’d steal them before dinner. I love a specifically chewy yet cooked brownie. So keeping in mind the deliciousness of those brownies with the ease of a quick, save-the-day dessert, I share my fast and simple go-to brownies. You can always bring these as your dessert dish or have these as an afternoon snack! Watch Shena make these brownies on Shena Creates.
1 pound semisweet chocolate chips such as Gefen Chocolate Chips
2 cups vegetable oil
8 eggs
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
2 and 1/2 cups brown sugar
dash of salt
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line one or two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine the oil and chocolate in a double boiler, mixing until thoroughly melted.
In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, salt, sugars and vanilla. Blend in chocolate mixture, while folding in the flour.
Pour into the prepared baking sheet and bake for 50 minutes. Brownies are ready when the top layer is thin and crusty, while the bottom is stiff.
When cooled, cut into two-inch squares and enjoy!
For fun party looks, top with icing and drizzle sprinkles or chocolate syrup, or both! You can also serve on cute dessert skewers with accompaniments, as pictured.
Yields 48 brownies

can I use regular flour instead of all purpose flour?
Sure, all-purpose flour is the traditional standard flour 🙂

Delicious! We are not a cake family, but this got finished really fast…. I would recommend to anyone who wants something easy and yum!
She mentions in the video that there is very little flour, but the recipe says 3 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. Is that the correct amount? Thanks
Hi, you’re right it’s supposed to be 3/4 of a cup. We fixed it, thank you!
They look AMAZING!!!
