Seasoned lightly to perfection, coated with a combo of pretzel and bread crumbs, and drizzled with a simple yet awesome sauce, this chicken tastes even better than it sounds.
12-15 chicken drumstick lollipops, or chicken of your choice
avocado oil, for smearing and drizzling
garlic powder, to taste
salt, to taste
1/2 to 2/3 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs
1/2 to 2/3 cup pretzel crumbs
1/4 cup sesame seeds
full 1/4 cup Haddar Brown Sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
3 tablespoons Gefen White Vinegar
2 tablespoons Glicks Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup Glicks Ketchup
1 tablespoon honey
pinch kosher salt
pinch of red pepper flakes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pat chicken pieces dry. Smear lightly with avocado oil, garlic powder, and salt.
Line a roasting pan with Gefen Parchment Paper. Pour crumbs over each piece, coating them fully. Drizzle avocado oil over all.
Cover pan and bake for one and a half hours.
In a small pot or frying pan, combine all sauce ingredients. Whisk together over medium heat, bringing to a boil; stir continuously until thickened.
Remove from heat and pour over chicken; continue baking, uncovered, for an additional half hour.
