Diets This trend is pretty easy to accomplish and definitely fun to try. Perfect for melave malka or a cozy winter supper.
4 cloves or cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 cup salted (vegan) butter, at room temperature
disposable drink cup
cotton wick
sharp knife
1 loaf sourdough bread
Blend butter and garlic until smooth and combined.
Cut a hole in the bottom of a disposable cup and stick the wick through, so at least one inch is visible outside of the cup. Pour butter mixture into a disposable cup. Set in fridge.
Trace and cut a hole in the bread. The hole should be wider than your disposable cup for the candle (don’t cut the hole too deep!)
Once set, remove the cup from the butter candle. Put the candle in the center of the bread, cut down the wick, light and let the butter melt!
As the butter melts, slice the bread and dip in.
