3 cups flour
2 pounds shortening
2 eggs
dash of salt
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons sugar
1 cup flour
1/4 pound margarine
2 pounds broccoli, cooked and drained
1 pound frozen spinach, cooked and drained
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 pound margarine
4 eggs
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 pounds ground chicken breasts
2 onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs
7 sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
1/4 pound margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Combine first six ingredients to form dough. Roll out dough.
Mix margarine and flour and spread onto dough. Fold dough in three.
Divide dough into two parts.
Roll out half of dough and place into the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 10- by 16-inch roaster pan.
Coarsely blend broccoli and spinach.
Sauté onions in margarine.
Combine vegetables with onion and add remaining ingredients for broccoli layer. Spread over dough.
Mix all ingredients for meat layer. Spread over broccoli mixture.
Combine mashed sweet potatoes with remaining ingredients. Spread over meat mixture.
Roll out second part of dough and place on top of sweet potatoes.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
