Start Cooking

Prepare the Turkey Loaf

  1. Heat oil in small pan. Add onions and sauté until lightly brown.

  2. Put turkey, matzah meal and spices in greased foil loaf pan. Mix well, add onions with the oil. Pat down.

  3. Bake at 375°F about 45 minutes. Meanwhile make the gravy.

Prepare the Gravy

  1. Heat oil, add onions and mushrooms. Sauté until soft.

  2. Stir starch into cold water and add to onion mixture. Heat, stirring well until it thickens. Season to taste.

  3. Serve hot over sliced turkey loaf.
