Malawach dough makes these hamantaschen so flaky and crispy, they’re seriously addictive. Yield: 25 hamantaschen
1 tablespoon oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
2 onions, diced
1 sweet potato, diced
1 (10-ounce) package white mushrooms, diced
1 zucchini, diced
1 package malawach (6 sheets), defrosted but cold
sweet chili sauce, for drizzling
In a frying pan, heat oil and sauté onion until golden. Add the rest of the vegetables and sauté until soft.
Cut circles in the malawach with the top of a glass.
Place filling in the center of each circle. Pinch the three corners tightly.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes, until brown.
Drizzle with sweet chili sauce.
