Diets For a cute, make ahead, real-food Mishloach Manot, send these pita chips to friends and family together with Caramelized Red Onion Dip, Red Pepper Dip, and Roasted Eggplant Dip. Yields: about 40 pita chips
4 whole wheat pitas, cut into wedges
1 egg white
Gefen Minced Garlic, to sprinkle
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking sheet by spraying it with cooking spray.
Cut each pita into as many triangle segments as you can get out of each one. Separate the front section from the back section of each pita.
Lay the pieces on the baking sheet. Using a pastry brush, smear the egg white on the pita wedges. Then sprinkle liberally with the minced garlic.
Spray the entire tray with some non-stick cooking spray. Bake for eight to 10 minutes until crisp.
