It all comes down to Bassie vs. Mozelle in the final round, where three dishes - and real-time kitchen chaos - stand between them and the grand prize. The heat is up, the nerves are real, and only ONE of them is walking out a Food Fight winner!

Is there another season coming?
I was extremely dissappointed for Mozelle. I felt that she should have been helped the same way Bassie was helped. Bassie got told it was a parve competition and she awitched her dish to parve. She also got helped setting her table. maybe someone should have mentioned to Mozelle use the stove. Im happy for Bassie but feel the competition was very unfair!!!
Mazel Tov Bassi!
But, I don’t think it was fair to Mozelle that her oven wasn’t working. I know that it ws a competition and mistakes happen, but the ovens should work, and when it wasn’t working that wasn’t her fault!
Agree
Thank you kosher.com for this amazing season!!!! Congratulations Bassy!!!!!
Thank u Kosher.com for such a great series !!!!!!! Would love to see a food fight with teenagers cooking it would be very entertaining and fun to watch !!!!!!!! Great job bassi and Mozelle please post blooper videos and behind the scenes videos !!! Love this show
Can we please have the recipes
Even in approximate measurements
I think it would have been so nice if Mozelle had been told once it was discovered that her oven wasn’t working, that Bassi would present first, and she could continue working until Bassi finished presenting. That’s not much more time, and may not have changed the outcome; Bassi also did a great job. But just some acknowledgment and effort to even out the playing field due to the broken oven, could have left everyone feeling better.
Mhm.
So so so disappointing….. what a letdown!!!!!!!!! I cant believe as professionals that they let this show finish like this….
agree
I understand why many people are upset for Mozelle, but don’t be…
Mozelle may have seemed to walk out empty handed but that’s incorrect, she did walk out with something, and that something is a LOT bigger than any materialistic prize.
She showed hundreds, if not thousands of women how to behave like a true bas melech.
way she behaved after realising her oven wasn’t working should be a mussar lesson for us all.
There was no complaint, there was no blaming, she carried herself with real dignity.
When presenting to the judges, she mentioned it but not with anger or attitude and we all watched this dignified behaviour.
may not have won the completion but she certainly won something much greater.
hope her family are very proud of her, I certainly am (& I’m a complete stranger from Israel!)
I’m honoured to be a Jewish woman when I witness such aristocracy.
Well done Bassie and well done Mozelle!
I’m not upset for Mozelle (sorry Mozelle ðŸ¤) because I don’t think you have to win to be the happy one. It’s very special to be part of this show and especially to make it to the final round. The fact that you don’t win in the last round doesn’t mean you’re not good, but rather that someone else was just a little bit better than you or had a touch more luck.
What really disappoints me is that the last round wasn’t fair. And that’s simply not acceptable. Bassie might have won even if everything had been completely fair, it’s not about winning. It’s about correct procedures that must always be applied. Such a shame, a missed opportunity in such a beautiful and unique show.
However, I completely agree that the message Mozelle communicates through her behavior is priceless, a gift to all of us that will last forever. I don’t think she even realizes what she has set in motion and how far her message has reached all the way to you in Israel and to me in Europe.
Phenomenal show, but that last round? Totally unfair to Mozelle, no matter how you look at it.
We love you both, but wow… I can’t understand how you dared to publish it. That round was truly unjust to Mozelle.
Disappointing way to close an amazing show.
I really liked it. the winner though was not so fair because mezel’s oven was not working other than that I really enjoyed the suspense and watching them cook there dishes
Omg I love bassi she’s such a cutie
I love how when she realized her oven wasn’t working the judges were commenting that they believe in her…. like how does that help her????? Her oven wasn’t working due to no fault of her own and all they could do was say she’s doing great , maybe give a little more time!!!!! Mozelle I think you did amazing!!!!!!
Totally.
While her words might seem encouraging, it’s not entirely fair to expect the chef to “pivot” when the issue is with the equipment, not her skills. The point of a cooking show is to showcase cooking abilities, and it’s assumed that the equipment will work properly.
As a surprise twist next time, have the contestants make dinner for a panel of child-judges and a nutritionist. The healthiest meal approved by the kids wins!
That’s actually an amazing idea
What a fun ride this has been! I learned a lot by watching the techniques, ideas, and ingredients showcased. This is top level programming. Great work!
That was not a fair round. Ovens are supposed to be working. If her timing were off then pivotting would come in. But this was not the issue. Plus Bassie was reminded about the parev dishes…
So true, they should have at least given Mozelle a runners up prize
so to calm everyone down about the oven I’m sure they took into consideration that the eggplant and sweet potatoes were not baked,That wasn’t the reason she didn’t win…..She did do a fabulous job but obviously they judged that Bassie did a better one….. This was such a fun show!
I don’t think they did, because when they commented on her food and they announced the winner they didn’t really mention Anything about her oven not working and bassie got help from the judges they reminded her about the dairy in her dish and shaindy kept on helping with small stuff (like wetting the power towel and helping with the table cloth)
Maybe they offered mozzele help, but she said she can’t delegate…and wants to do everything alone.
Don’t see how this competition is fair if her oven isn’t working.
Agree
I agree 1000 %
they should have gave her more time
omg im so happy 4 u bassi u rly deserve it and ur food looks epic
Can we get all the recipes?
