You definitely don’t have to serve it with anything but if you’d like you can serve with salad and soup.

Can I make the sauce in advance and freeze it?
no. because of the cream in in… but to make dinner one two three you can use frozen sautéed onions and mushrooms can go super fast – while you’re boiling the pasta
