I was asked several times if the Bulgur wheat needs to be cooked for this recipe. While some do, my recipe with its ancient roots, does not require prior cooking of the Bulgur wheat. The process of making Bulgur before sold to the consumer, is using cracked wheat that has been parboiled, lightly boiled, to save on cooking time. Therefore, no need to precook for Tabule salad.

So nice to see Savta Orly herself responding to the comments! Would really appreciate it if all the other chefs featured on https://www.kosher.com would respond personally to the comments & questions on their recipes & shows like Savta Orly did here. Hatzlocha Rabbah in keeping up the great work here!
