Prepare the Granita
Pour applesauce and honey into a large baking dish. Freeze overnight or until solid.
Then, using a fork, scrape until granita becomes flaky and fluffy shaved ice.
Serve in individual cups and top with pomegranate seeds if desired.

It was Okay. I would say that we weren't crazy about the taste. Kind of just tastes very similar to applesauce. And it melts quickly and then it's really applesauce. And it was super annoying to use the fork to mash it up. And took a very long time. But when it was ices it was cool.
