Aviva’s Vegetable Soup


For me, a cold day equals hot soup! This recipe was given to me by a dear friend who is always trying to “up her game” in everything she does. Making healthy dinners for her family is just one more way she tries. Thank you, Aviva!


1. Sauté onions and garlic in water.
2. Add vegetables and split peas and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then lower to simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
