I love this recipe. The fries are reminiscent of the deep-fried French fries that we all love, only they’re baked and just as delicious!

Ingredients

Baked Cajun Fries

  • 6 to 8 large Yukon gold potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon Pereg Black Pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika, such as Pereg

  • 1 teaspoon Gefen Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.

2.

In a large mixing bowl, mix oil and spices. Add potatoes and mix. Place on prepared baking sheet in a single layer; do not overcrowd the pan.

3.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until potatoes are fork tender and golden brown. Serve at room temperature.

Tips:

Turn this into a one-pot dinner and roast a whole chicken together with the potatoes and seasonings!
