Berry Breakfast Smoothie

Easy, healthy, filling, and of course, delicious.   Yield: approximately 4 servings

Ingredients

Berry Breakfast Smoothie

  • 3 cups milk (or other liquid of your choice)

  • 3 cups fresh or frozen berries (I use a mix of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)

  • 1/2 cup quick oats or wheat germ

  • 2 tablespoons Gefen Maple Syrup (optional)

Directions

1.

Place all ingredients in a strong blender. Blend for at least four minutes, until very smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a tablespoon or more of milk.

Tips:

If you’re rushed in the mornings, you can prepare everything except the frozen berries in the blender the night before. In the morning, simply remove from the fridge, add berries, and blend.
