A moist and fluffy cake, this is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. This cake is chock-full of nuts and chocolate and each bite will melt in your mouth. Top with your favorite chocolate icing or glaze to really bring out the chocolate flavor.
7 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar, divided
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
1 cup ground walnuts
8 ounces baking chocolate, grated
Beat yolks, three-fourths cup sugar, and vanilla sugar. Add oil and juice and continue beating.
In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, then add remaining sugar and beat until peaks form.
Sift flour and baking powder and combine with nuts and chocolate.
Fold whites into yolk mixture by hand. Add flour and chocolate. Pour into nine-inch tube pan
Bake at 350 for one hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
