Diets This kugel combines apples and potatoes for the ultimate Yom Tov kugel. Gluten free and kosher for Passover, this is a great kugel recipe that meets those criteria!
6 eggs, separated
1/2 cup sugar
4 potatoes, cooked and grated
1 cup walnuts, ground, such as Gefen
1 apple, grated
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff.
In another bowl, mix yolks with remaining ingredients. Combine with beaten egg whites.
Cook in a nine-inch frying pan over low heat for half an hour on each side, or bake in an 8×10-inch baking pan at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
