Diets Traditional pastries for the holiday of Purim, made from your choice of two doughs (one is egg-free!).
Yields 35 hamantaschen
5 cups flour
1 pound margarine
10 ounces whipped cream
1/2 cup sugar
4 and 1/2 cups flour
pinch of salt
4 teaspoons Haddar Baking Powder
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1/2 pound margarine
1/2 cup orange juice
1 pound lekvar
2 tablespoons orange rind
1/2 cup ground walnuts (optional)
Tuscanini Apricot or strawberry jam
Combine ingredients for desired dough. Mix until smooth.
On well-floured surface, roll out to one- quarter-inch thickness. Cut into two- and- a- half- to three-inch circles. (Use a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass.)
Combine ingredients for desired filling. Place half a teaspoonful onto center of each dough circle.
Bring two arcs towards center, lift bottom arc towards center. Pinch to seal.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15–18 minutes.

Clumpy Why is dough #2 coming out clumpy???
NOt sure. Did you make any substitutions.
No I didn’t… I followed the exact recipe… checked it over couple of times to make sure I wasn’t missing anything
