Diets Whether you make this into buns or a kokosh cake, you won’t be sorry! The dough rolls out like a dream, so smooth and soft. Any filling can be used, so tailor it to your family’s palate. The end result is a fabulous, moist dessert that won’t last very long on your kitchen counter!
1 ounce yeast
1/2 cup warm water
5-6 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
8 ounces margarine
1/2 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
desired filling
oil, for brushing
Dissolve yeast in water. Add remaining ingredients and knead into smooth dough. Cover with a dish towel and allow to rise.
Divide into three balls. Roll out each part on floured board to 1/4-inch thickness.
Brush dough with oil.
Prepare your desired filling. (These are always favorites.) Spread one-third of filling over each dough and roll up jelly-roll fashion.
For buns, cut into one-inch slices.
Lay slices, face up, on baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Are there instructions or recipe for the icing showed in the picture?
I would use a glaze similar to this one https://www.kosher.com/recipe/cinnamon-buns-3237/
Do you not need to let the dough rise? Thanks
Yes, we added it to the instructions 🙂
