Lemon Basil Sauce

I store loads of lemons in my fridge at all times for opportunities like this. Lemon anything calls my name, and since they are relatively inexpensive and last a while, it’s a no brainer to keep them stocked. Take advantage of the burst of flavor with this recipe. And use the dressing in a million different ways!

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon MSG-free chicken soup mix (parve)

  • 1/8 cup oil

  • 1 cube Dorot Gardens Frozen Basil, or 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Directions

Make the Sauce

Blend all ingredients using a stick blender.

Tips:

Pour over diced potatoes and bake for one and a half hours at 350 degrees.

What can I use instead of chicken soup mix?

You can use nutritional yeast or a mix of spices such as garlic and onion powder and some dried herbs.
