Diets Lemon and mint is an Israeli match made in heaven. My oldest (Israeli-born!) child can’t get enough of this flavor combo! Once you try it, you’ll see why. The berry addition adds a nice touch. Feel free to save this recipe and use as a tea base for the winter too.
4 bags Wissotzsky Mint Tea
6 cups water
1 and 1/2 cups sugar, or to taste
1 cup blueberries
2 lemons, sliced
In a medium pot, combine tea bags, water, and sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar.
Bring to a boil and add lemons; boil for about two minutes. Add blueberries and turn off flame. Allow to sit 15 minutes.
Discard tea bags and pour tea into a container. Refrigerate until chilled. Use within two days or discard fruit and store for up to a week.
Serve over ice.
