Diets This is Alfredo in its laziest, tastiest form: ramen noodles simmer straight in a garlicky cream sauce with broccoli until everything’s saucy, silky, and dinner-ready in just ten minutes.
4 tablespoons butter
5–6 cloves garlic, minced or 5-6 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
3 cups whole milk, plus more if needed
1 cup heavy cream
3 cups Beleaves Frozen Broccoli Florets, defrosted
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 3-ounce (85-gram) packages Gefen Ramen Noodles (discard seasoning packets)
1 cup grated Tuscanini Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
pinch crushed red pepper (optional)
fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Melt butter in a wide saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for one minute, until fragrant.
Pour in the milk and heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the broccoli, salt, and pepper.
Break the ramen blocks in half and add them directly to the pan. Simmer for three to four minutes, stirring often, until the noodles soften and the broccoli is heated through. Add a splash more milk if the pan gets too dry.
Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until creamy and smooth.
Taste and adjust seasoning, adding crushed red pepper if desired. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley, if desired, to serve.
