Diets These rich, melt-in-your-mouth cookies will appeal to all kids who like Bamba and peanuts. They’re also quick and easy, no need to work patchke.
1 and 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Haddar Baking Powder
3/4 cup Gefen Peanut Butter
1/4 cup margarine, softened (use soy-free, if needed)
1 egg
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
2/3 cup chopped roasted peanuts
1 cup caramel chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
Place all the dry ingredients in a medium bowl and mix. Add the wet ingredients, the peanuts, and the caramel chips, and mix until it comes together and forms a sticky batter.
Using two spoons to form balls, drop cookie batter onto lined baking sheets. (The cookies should be on the smaller side.) Using a fork, make an indentation on top of the cookies.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Yields about 45 cookies

Something missing? I’m in middle of making these and I tried the first batch and it definitely came out bitter. The dough is also pretty crumbly. Going to try to add some sugar and oil and see how the rest come out.
The ratios look pretty solid . I am not sure what the bitterness is from though based on these ingredients.
