The name of these cookies do them justice!! They are beyond amazing! From the grated chocolate to the nuts, every element of this cookie will have you coming back for just one more bite. These cookies do not spread much in the oven, so for a slightly flatter cookie, push down on each mound of cookie dough with the palm of your hand before baking. Bookmark this recipe, it’s a keeper!
1 pound margarine
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Haddar Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Gefen Baking Soda
24 ounces Glicks Chocolate Chips
8 ounces chocolate, grated
3 cups chopped nuts
Blend oatmeal until powdery.
Cream margarine and sugars.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
Add all remaining ingredients, including oatmeal.
Form into balls.
Place on cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
