Such a beautiful and inspiring family! I have gotten so many compliments on the recipies that I have made. I look forward to seeing more great recipies and seeing more enjoyable videos in the kitchen.

I love basil but I have a hard time finding checked fresh basil. Where would I find it or how do I check it

Yea, it has a wonderful scent. In Hebrew it’s called ריחן indicating that it has a good smell.

To wash the basil, rinse then soak the basil in water with 1 drop of dish soap for 3-4 minutes. Wash thoroughly (3 times), then check the leaves for bugs against the light. Remove any damaged ones, and you are home free. It sounds like a lot to do, but it’s not so much work. Especially a small bunch.
Btw, some buy a small basil plant, supposedly cleaner, cause it grows at home. Still have to wash and check for bugs…
good luck.
