Can I please have the name and number of your rav?
Tamar,
Spoke to my son, Rabbi Kaniel, who pointed out that avoiding saying a Bracha on camera prevents an instinctive אמן יתומה reply. Meaning, adults or kids viewing the episode could reply Amen to a bracha that is not in real time, which is a problem.
Hope that sheds some light on your question.
thanks for watching, and for caring. We hope you continue to enjoy our show. 🌷
k I appreciate your reply. I understand what you’re saying Surely Dan lekaf zchus. It would be nice if you put it somewhere in your website so that if children see it it would give clarity to them as not everyone would know this. And addressing it openly what the rav said. Would be greatly appreciated. I’m sorry I came across judgemental. Thank you so much for the beautiful website we so enjoy and hoped continue to. Just this correction would be very appreciated
Have a great day
these recipes and videos are yum! as you are a Jewish orthodox website covering videos of people actually tasting what they make. its disheartening to see people eat and not make a bracha. it feels like it would be such a good opportunity to do it the right way. i know others have complained about this. and your also showing frum women covering their hair so i assumed it would be ok to give my comment. please consider this. i wouldn’t want to be disappointed in looking at this and feeling such a letdown. i love watching wholesome videos here so i hope you’ll take this into consideration.
Hi, thanks for the comment. As per our rav, we do not recite brachos on camera, but I certainly hope all people are dan lekaf zchus and they know that of course brachos were made. 🙂
Our new Shabbos Besties!!! My husband and kids LOVED these! I don’t like using mayo in my dips, so THANK YOU!!!
Oh, lovely!!! So happy to contribute to enhancing your Shabbat meals. 👏
Great videos. Love your vibes. Was so nice seeing you in person at Challah Bake!
Always a pleasure seeing in person the ladies who make sharing these episodes worthwhile.
looks amazing cant wait to try
Hopefully it will enhance your Shabbat seudah.
a tip to keep the stove clean when grilling the eggplant 🍆 (which gives the dip a distinct favorable flavor): place a foil sheet flat, surrounding the particular burner used, while keeping it away from the flame. When done, after it has cooled down, remove and throw away. Nice and easy.
enjoy it.
