We recently took a poll in our WhatsApp groups to see which types of chametz our followers were most eager to use up, and pasta came out on top!

The good news? Pasta is one of the easiest ingredients to turn into quick, satisfying meals. Whether you’re in the mood for creamy dairy dishes or hearty meat-based dinners, these recipes will help you clear out those pasta boxes in the most delicious way possible.

Here are some of our favorite recipes to help you finish that pantry stash before Pesach begins.

Dairy:

1. Pasta in Creamy Tomato Sauce by H. Herszberg

I love this pasta dish, mainly because it is so effortless and quick to make! It’s also kid friendly and requires minimal effort and simple ingredients. But what I love most about it is that it only uses one pot! This is especially convenient on Motza’ei Shabbos when I just want to relax and unwind with something good to eat without having to clean up a huge mess.

2. Pasta Alfredo Light by Jamie Geller

My favorite pasta sauces are Alfredo and vodka, I even like them on zucchini noodles. I find it hard to choose between them and have been known to order both at restaurants. Hey, sometimes a girl just has to help herself! This lighter version of the classic Alfredo goes down just as smoothly as the original.

3. Pasta Roll-Ups by Rivky Friedman

These roll-ups are a simple twist to the classic lasagna dish that come together in no time and couldn’t be more delicious.

4. Lemon-Pepper Pasta by Leah Leora

A perfectly simple and delicious weeknight pasta dish.

Meat:

6. Southwestern Pasta Salad by Faigy Murray

I love the added unique ingredients of this dish. Add some sliced grilled chicken or salmon and you have a meal in a bowl.

7. Meat Lasagna Soup by Faigy Murray

It’s funny how some super-popular recipes are the most traditional, hearty recipes. I have been making lasagna soup since my kids were little. It’s a delicious meal in one!

8. Meat Pansagna by Chaya Surie Goldberger

When thinking of after-school dinners, the most important qualifications are quick, kid-friendly, and hearty, and this recipe checks off all those boxes. Best of all, it’s made with basic ingredients, prepared in one pot, and is done from start to finish in just under an hour.

9. One-Pan Minute Steak with Noodles by Naomi Nachman

This recipe has been a big hit. It’s one-pan dishes like this, which are both family-friendly and quick to prepare, that are always popular with busy families.

10. Noodles and Chicken Bites by Miriam Fried

This one-pot dish is my kids’ favorite meal. When they walk in from school and this is for dinner, I have lots of happy faces. It takes minutes to prep and cook, so it’s perfect for those nights when you’re short on time. It’s sure to become a favorite in your home, too.

11. Mini Chicken Meatballs in Veggie Marinara by Rena Tuchinsky

You’re going to love these chicken meatballs in a creamy, veggie-packed sauce—the perfect dish for a cold winter night!
