When you’re tired of the same old rice side dishes, it’s time to give this zested-up Lime Rice a try.
2 cups cooked rice
1 teaspoon Bartenura Olive Oil
1/2 teaspoon lime zest
1 tablespoon (or more) fresh lime juice
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
freshly chopped parsley or cilantro (optional)
Combine cooked rice, olive oil, zest and juice together in a bowl.
Season with salt and pepper. Adjust other flavors to your personal taste. Enjoy with any Mexican-inspired meal.
