Ingredients

Paletas de Mango Con Chili Limon (Mango Popsicles with Chili Lime)

  • 3 cups chopped mango, fresh or frozen, such as Beleaves

  • 1/4 cup finely diced mango, fresh or frozen, such as Beleaves

  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • 1/8 cup water

  • 3 tablespoons Gefen Honey or other sweetener

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • chili lime seasoning, to sprinkle (see note)

Directions

1.

In a blender, process the chopped mango, orange juice, water, honey, and salt, blending until smooth.

Stir in the diced mango.

3.

Pour into 10 popsicle molds and insert popsicle sticks. Freeze until firm, six to eight hours.

4.

To easily remove the paletas from the molds, run the molds under hot water for a few seconds.

5.

If you like, sprinkle chili lime seasoning on the tops of the paletas right before serving.

Notes:

If you like, add one to two teaspoons chili lime seasoning directly to the popsicle mixture instead of sprinkling it on at the end. (Adding the seasoning at the end means that you can leave some paletas without it for those who prefer that.)
