17 Recipes That Use Up Leftover Wine

Now that the holiday is behind us, a lot of you may be looking at your Mishloach Manot stash and Seudah leftovers and wondering what to do next.

Well, when it comes to all that leftover wine, if you’re looking for a creative use for it, take a look at the recipes below!

Most recipes using wine only require 1 and 1/2 cups of it. So instead of popping open a new bottle just to have more leftovers on hand, take advantage and use the open bottles you’ve already got!

1. Tomato Garlic White Wine Snapper by Rena Tuchinsky

On a long flight to Australia about 25 years ago, I sat next to an Italian restaurateur who owned a restaurant in New York.  He was flying from New York to Australia to see his son.  As I am very chatty, we quickly struck up a conversation and I asked him to recommend a fish recipe from his restaurant. He shared with me one of his favorite dishes — which was a fish with pasta.  That was the first time I heard that fish and pasta was a thing; I had always associated pasta with meat (think spaghetti bolognaise).  I created this dish from memory with some tweaks of my own.
