Chanie Nayman’s Ultimate Pesach Menu: Delicious and Fresh Recipes to Try This Year!

Chanie Nayman March 25, 2025

There’s something so refreshing about this time of year! I love planning and cooking and preparing for Pesach. Confession: I usually start with the cooking and then speed through the cleaning (organize in the winter! Or after Pesach!) so that I can get back to the kitchen to make more random little things that no one really needs but is so fun for me. Here’s a menu to help you get inspired. There are a few chometz recipes here, but adapt as needed, and work according to your needs. Pesach is not necessarily brisket and potatoes; there are so many beautiful, fresh, and delicious foods you can make- even if you are limited with time. Enjoy all the colors and flavors that are available to you, and have a delicious and uplifting yomtov!

April 12 – Seder 1

I like to keep the Seders simple with a refreshing dessert.

1. Chicken Soup with chicken breast and chicken balls (mock matza balls) in it

Fluffy ’n Colorful Chicken-Vegetable Kneidlach by Faigy Grossman

2. Fork-Tender Brisket by Chanie Nayman

While I usually love second-cut brisket, first cut is much leaner, and therefore a nice option for a Seder. It cooks differently because it’s much drier, so be informed before you bake it).

3. Zucchini-Mushroom Kugel by Michal Frischman

4. Celeriac Mashed Potatoes with Tuscanini Truffle Salt by Sina Mizrahi

(Minus the truffle salt, and I’d probably add sauteed onions to this)

5. Caramelized Toffee Kichel by Chanie Nayman

6. Shaved Ice by Chanie Nayman

(The grapefruit one)

April 13 – Day Meal 1
