Making dinner for kids is stressful. This kid likes this and doesn’t like that, while this one likes that and not this- I’m already confused.

So if you haven’t done so already this year, let’s introduce the best dinner yet- breakfast! Who doesn’t love pancakes, waffles, and French toast?! Now you can check off dinners, and dinners that everyone loves! You’re welcome!

Enjoy!

  1. Banana Crepes (Gluten Free, Sugar Free) by Rena Tuchinsky
I’d often seen recipes for two-ingredient banana pancakes, but to me they tasted like a banana omelet. That’s why I was beyond excited when I played around with the recipe a bit and ended up with these crepes. Fill them with berries and Greek yogurt and you’ve got yourself a healthy and filling breakfast. I usually triple the recipe.

  2. Calabrian Chili Shakshuka by Sara and Yossi Goldstein
Shakshuka is a breakfast favorite all the time, but especially on Passover when our options are limited! I took the classic recipe and kicked it up a notch with Tuscanini’s Calabrian chilis. They add a beautifully complex flavor and piquant kick that works beautifully in the tomato sauce. They provide a real decent amount of heat, so use accordingly!

  3. Israeli Breakfast Taco by Sima Kazarnovsky

If there is one thing I’ve picked up from living amongst Israelis for almost seven years, it’s that they know how to do breakfast. We all just look incompetent with our yogurts on-the-go or our frozen muffins in little baggies. For Israelis, breakfast consists of bread and dips and eggs and salatim and cheeses.

This taco takes the best of breakfast and combines it into a cute little taco portion. Because it would be great to sit and eat breakfast for a while, but I am still from New York.

  4. Fried Eggplant and Jammy Eggs with Herb Oil by Kim Kushner

This recipe may seem long, but it’s only because I’ve included specific instructions for mastering three important kitchen techniques:

    1. How to perfect jammy eggs;

    2. How to master fried eggplant; and

    3. How to whip up a beautiful herb oil in a matter of seconds.

These are skills you will use time and time again. You’re welcome.

  5. Sausage and Eggs Baking-Sheet Dinner by Sarah Lasry
This baking-sheet dinner, a hybrid of my favorite sausage and peppers recipe mixed with the best shakshuka sauce, is the ultimate dish. It’s got spicy, savory flavors of the sausages and veggies and is mixed with the roasted tomato sauce that has just a hint of sweet and sour. It’s such a filling and beyond flavorful dish. The best thing is it makes for unbelievable leftovers the next night!

  6. Very Berry Cheese Waffles by Faigy Grossman
I adapted my never-fail cheese latke recipe into an easy, scrumptious waffle that’s sure to delight. Drizzled with caramel syrup, the waffles present like a dessert but contain the components of a healthy supper option; the perfect idea for a festive Chanukah dinner with your loved ones!

  7. Mushroom Shakshuka by Michael Gershkovich
Shakshuka like you’ve never seen before, Mike’s version incorporates a variety of hearty mushrooms and a rich tomato-beef sauce. Watch Mike make his “chic” shakshuka on Mike’s Day Off.

  8. Light Israeli Sabich by Skinny Cooking
There are so many ways you can enjoy this! The Sabich is typically a classic Israeli breakfast, including fried eggplant, Israeli salad, hard-boiled eggs, potatoes, chummus, techina, and plenty of olive oil. It’s healthy and bright … though not particularly light. This version takes the best of those Sabich flavors, then lets you choose — include the potato and toss all the components together in a salad or stuff ’em into a wrap. It’s amazing either way!

  9. Salami Hash by Esty Wolbe
Looking for that perfect dish to satisfy your family? Esty is sharing with us her perfect Pesach In a Pan recipe. This hash can be served for breakfast, dinner, and is even a great option for erev Pesach. It’s super versatile – use whatever veggies you like and you can even skip the salami if you don’t like eating meat in the morning. Enjoy!

  10. Spanish Omelet from the Nitra Cookbook
Here’s an upgraded omelet idea for a delicious Sunday morning breakfast. Omelets can be filled with Creamed Spinach.

  11. Vegetable Omelet from the Nitra Cookbook
Whether for Sunday brunch or breakfast-for-supper, these beefed-up eggs are a nutritious and delicious option you can’t really get wrong. Add a salad or grain dish and you’ve got a full meal.

  12. Spaghetti Squash Brunch Casserole by Rorie Weisberg
This is a wonderful way to enjoy the feel of pasta with a lower carb load. This high-protein, super filling dish is great for breakfast, brunch lunch or a light summer dinner. It’s great warm, at room temperature, or even cold. Yields one nine- or 10-inch round pan. Watch the latest episode of Living Full ‘n Free.

  13. Corn Scallion Waffles by Tamar Teitelbaum
Corn Scallion Waffles are pillowy, savory waffles that taste delicious with sour cream. It’s like a corn muffin, only better. They are perfect for breakfast with a side of eggs or for dinner with some fried fish.

  14. Pastrami Frittata by Chaia Frishman
A savory fleishig fritatta with crisp sautéed pastrami, potatoes, and onions. Coming up with this recipe with only 30 minutes to cook it was stressful. Doing it in the comfort of your kitchen, though, should be a breeze.

  15. Three-Cheese Breakfast Pizza by Sara and Yossi Goldstein
This breakfast pizza should be a classic! It’s essentially eggs, toast and cheese, but that crunchy pizza crust, runny egg and smoked Gouda flavor take the experience to a new level. If there’s no time to enjoy these in the morning, enjoy them for dinner.

  16. Sunny-Side-Up Boats by Rivky Kleiman
    A creative and delicious “egg”sperience.

  17. Waffle-icious Corned Beef with Cherry BBQ Sauce by Chavi Feldman
This hybrid of sweet cherries and tangy barbecue sauce takes this succulent dish to the next level. Each bite is… you guessed it — waffle-icious!

  18. Crustless Red Pepper Quiches by Chef Zissie
These really take under 10 minutes to make and if you have pretty little cupcake papers, use them! I love these little muffin tins because there is no clean up and they look divine! If you would rather make a large quiche, use a standard round pan or tin and this recipe might even make two of them!

  19. Taco Breakfast by Chavi Feldman
I just had the opportunity to try out this recipe on my brand-new son-in-law. He suggested adding hot sauce for that extra zing, and I think that did the trick to take this recipe from just ordinary to “egg-ceptional.” Thanks, Chaim!

  20. Grainless Banana Pancakes by Nealy Fischer
Healthy and delicious pancakes, for real? These bad boys have nothing bad about them. They’re pretty much like eating bananas and eggs for breakfast, so it’s kind of sneaky of me to even sell them as pancakes but, well, they are! So splurge and have a few.

  21. Spinach, Cheese and (Vegan) Sausage Crustless Quiche by Erin Grunstein
Quick and easy – perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

  22. Rise and Shine Breakfast Sandwich by Tamar Teitelbaum
Velvety, creamy, salty, this hearty Rise and Shine Breakfast Sandwich is a blend of textures and flavors that will have you feeling completely satisfied and ready to start your day!

These are like scrambled eggs to-go. You’d never guess there was quinoa hiding in here!

  24. Blueberry Pancakes from the Dining In Cookbook

  25. Spinach Shakshuka by Leah Koenig
Since I was little, I have thrilled at reading food-related passages in novels. In one passage I read, a dish was described so vividly, I felt compelled to re-create it in my own kitchen. It said: “Ruchama . . . fried onions and sprinkled garlic cloves . . . seasoned it with spicy green pepper and coriander seeds and squeezed a lemon and placed a pile of beet leaves . . . in the middle, and within seconds the green pile sunk into the pot and became an aromatic green sauce, into which Ruchama chopped cubes of sheep’s milk cheese and broke three eggs and dripped olive oil.” As I read and my mouth watered, I realized that Ruchama is essentially making a tomato-free version of the North African poached egg dish, shakshuka. Riffing off the “recipe,” I experimented with a spinach shakshuka and, like Ruchama, ended up mopping it up with pita “with great pleasure.”

  26. Spinach and Sweet Potato Frittata by Hallmark Ideas & Inspiration
A frittata is a great egg-based dish for anytime of day, but is particularly crowd pleasing at brunch. Spinach and sweet potatoes provide a nice balance of color and flavor, but feel free to adapt the filling with any vegetable.

  27. Classic Shakshuka by Danielle Renov
For this dish, the fabulous Danielle Renov @peaslovencarrots creates the popular Middle Eastern Shakshuka using simple, healthy ingredients found in your home. Follow this easy recipe and this perfectly spiced dish will quickly be added as one of your favorite meals, perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

  28. Breakfast Soufflés with Veggie Fill-ins by Rorie Weisberg
These flavor-packed soufflés take the stress out of breakfast time. If dairy agrees with you, feel free to swap dairy cream for the coconut milk and butter for coconut oil.

  29. S’mores French Toast by Esty Wolbe
S’mores French Toast is everything we want in this summer’s most decadent snack. Spread with Gefen Marshmallow Fluff and Elite Chocolate Spread, then breaded with graham cracker crumbs and fried. Delicious!

  32. Savory Pesto French Toast Casserole by Erin Grunstein
This recipe was inspired by the cheesy matzah brei that I love to eat on Pesach – I realized that matzah brei is basically the Passover version of French toast. So why not make French toast savory?

  33. Cheesy Vegetable Stuffed French Toast by Draizy Wercberger

Stuffed with cheese, onions, tomatoes, and spinach, in this recipe French toast becomes a nutritious meal.
