1. Ratatouille Pasta by Faigy Grossmann

While comfort food is nurturing and warm, I also like it to be convenient and simple to prepare. This pasta dish doesn’t require a lot of prep time and can be personalized to suit your taste. Add in some protein — either cheese or chicken cubes — to make it a full, balanced dinner.

2. Quick Chicken Dumpling Soup by Rena Tuchinsky

This one-pot meal comes together in under an hour. It’s a perfect comforting dish for cold weather, and very kid friendly.

3. Tortellini in Meat Sauce by Naomi Nachman

4. Sun-Dried Tomato Jam Challah Grilled Cheese by Micah Siva

Sun-dried tomatoes are the ultimate kitchen staple – but think outside the pasta and salad when it comes to using them! Oil-packed sun dried tomatoes are full of juicy flavor, and perfect for making a sweet and savory jam! This chutney-like jam complements rich cheese and fluffy challah, for a sandwich the family will love!

5. Warm Cinnamon Milk by Leah Leora

A cozy, warm beverage that is sure to warm you up on chilly mornings and nights.

6. Meatloaf with Baked Vegetable Orzo by Rena Tuchinsky

Meatloaf is making a comeback! This recipe makes a super soft and tasty meatloaf. Pair it with mashed potatoes or this easy baked orzo. It goes right into the oven for an easy supper all will enjoy.

7. Lemony Chickpea Tahini Stew by Sara and Yossi Goldstein

If vegetarian cuisine isn’t really your thing, there’s a big chance you’ll fall in love with this stew. It’s hearty and filling while being packed with warm spice and nutty tahini flavor. The lemon brings it all together while adding a bright citrus punch to the dish, so please don’t leave that out!

Easy to make and easy to digest, this potted chicken with potatoes is my go-to for times when other priorities knock cooking to the bottom of my list.

10. Best Broccoli Pasta by Faigy Grossman

This simple and tasty dish was created by my newlywed daughter and proclaimed “a meal fit for a king!” Although it’s quite easy to prepare (who doesn’t mind that?!), the ingredients really do come together just so and it’s truly delicious! Add more mozzarella to suit your taste.

11. Best Lasagna by Rena Tuchinsky

Lasagna isn’t a new dish, but you’ve never tried this one. This recipe uses ingredients you can easily find and freezes well. Serve with this fresh salad and it’s the perfect meal for your family.

12. Chicken Bolognese over Kohlrabi Spaghetti by Rorie Weisberg

15. Creamed Pasta Meal-In-One by Brynie Greisman

This dish is an all-in-one casserole — pasta, cream, veggies, and really good flavor. Your family will love the combo of cooked and fresh veggies as well as the delicious taste. Blending the cottage cheese first results in a very creamy texture without all the calories. Feeds a crowd, so there’s enough for all of your kids’ friends too!

16. Out-of-this-World Minestrone Soup by Zeta Olive Oil

The perfect minestrone soup is the perfect warm and comforting supper for a cold winter evening.

17. No-Margarine Chocolate Chip Cookies from the Dining In Cookbook

Light and slightly crisp, with a chewy center. You won’t believe that there’s no margarine!

18. Crock-Pot Stew with Beef Fry by Rivky Kleiman

This succulent stew is paired with two of my favorite vegetables. The addition of crisped beef fry takes this dish to an all-new level, proving once again that everything tastes better with beef fry.

19. Good Old-Fashioned Chicken Soup by OU Kosher

Make yourself some good old fashioned chicken soup, the classic bowl of Jewish comfort food. Perfect for Passover or Shabbat dinner.

20. Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese by Tamar Teitelbaum

Smooth white cheddar and creamy gouda cheeses enhance the silky sauce in this one-pot meal. Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese is a dream to eat without all the pots and stirring. Some days it seems that there is nothing kids love more than macaroni and cheese. Baked macaroni and cheese is delicious, but it takes several pans and more than an hour to make. Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese dirties only one pot and the results are smooth and creamy. My kids sometimes sit and stare at the IP, asking “Is it mac and cheese yet?” When it finally beeps the squeal choir goes off, letting me know that dinner is ready. Not only is this a one-pot meal, but it also requires very little of your actual attention. The combination of cheeses in the sauce give this dish a more interesting flavor profile to appeal to adult palates as well.

21. Creamy Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons by Sara and Yossi Goldstein

This is one of my favorite easy suppers, a really creamy delicious tomato soup. The grilled cheese croutons are perfect on top.

22. Cinnamon Buns by Faigy Grossmann

If you’ve ever strolled through your neighborhood mall, chances are you’ve inhaled the scent of some freshly baked cinnamon buns. It’s absolutely intoxicating! There’s just something so satisfying about a hot drink and a warm cinnamon bun. Cinnamon buns sound like something only a professional baker can whip up, but with this fairly simple recipe, even novice cooks can impress their friends and family. This dough can be made in a mixer or by hand. Since it’s not overly sweet, it’s not over-powered by the sweet filling and frosting.

23. Creamy Potatoes with Sweet Heat by Estee Kafra

Inspired by my sister, who is the queen of quick and easy cooking. Cheesy, creamy, potatoes with just the right amount of heat. This is my latest additions to any dairy party buffet. There is never any left.

24. Sweet Potato Bean Chili by Amy Kritzer

25. Pasta Alfredo Light by Jamie Geller

My favorite pasta sauces are Alfredo and vodka, I even like them on zucchini noodles. I find it hard to choose between them and have been known to order both at restaurants. Hey, sometimes a girl just has to help herself! This lighter version of the classic Alfredo goes down just as smoothly as the original.
