Looking for the perfect summer Shabbat menu? Well you’re in luck, because we’ve created one with you in mind!
We’ve selected recipes with lots of variety, and kept the Nine Days and Tisha B’Av in mind as well. We skipped the fish (who else is already fished-out?), and chose recipes that are healthy, hydrating and hearty, which will help prep you for the fast.
Remember that Seudah Shlishit is your pre-fast meal, so be mindful of what you eat as it gets closer to the start of Tisha B’Av. Eat foods like watermelon and cucumbers to stay hydrated, and brown rice to keep you feeling full for hours! (Scroll to the bottom to see some of our recommendations.)
Of course, feel free to use this menu purely for inspiration and change it up to your liking!
